- Birka — the center for Norwegian Arts and Crafts, offers a look at Norwegian craftsmen and artists including traditional and modern crafts. They feature a new artist monthly. Included in the listing are the following headings: felt, glass, pictures, textiles, ceramics, clothing/hats, knives, knitwear, metal/blacksmith, decor painting, national costumes, leather and furs, jewelry, wood products, weaving, and other. Within each portal, a list of artists websites are listed. Although this takes you time to navigate, it gives a great look at the arts/crafts of Norway.
- Pauline Weston Thomas's Traditional Norwegian Costume Wedding Photo of Unusual Bridal Crown 1883 — offers insights into the dress of a bride in 1883. It also includes information on the stages in a woman's life as portrayed in her dress. The bridal crown of Norway is compared with those of nearby neighboring countries.
- Norwegian Rural Customs and Costumes—Weddings — written by Thomas B. Willson (ca. 1900) examines the dying traditions of rural weddings and the changes that were occurring around 1900.
